trimmed of all visible fat
6 TBLS Brummel and Brown margarine
2 Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored and sliced into 1/2" rings
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 TBLS sugar substitute
1/4 C Dark Rum
salt and pepper


How Do I Make Apple Rum Pork Chops?

Here is how you make Apple Rum Pork Chops:

1. Trim chops of all visible fat2. Peel apples and cut into 1/2" rings3. Sprinkle chops w/salt and pepper4. In a large oven proof skillet, brown chops in half of the butter (margarine) on both sides. Transfer to platter5. Add remainder of margarine to pan and add apple rings. Saute apples for 3 minutes on each side then sprinkle with cinnamon.6. Return the chops to pan placing them carefully on the apple rings. Combine sugar substitute with rum and pour over chops.7. Cover skillet with foil and place in 350* oven for 50 minutes.8.
