1 thick slice bread, cubed
1 cup half-fat milk
1tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
0.5 - 1 tbsp Medium Curry Powder
0.5 can chopped tomatoes or 2 medium fresh tomatoes, chopped
300g Lean Mince
3 cloves garlic crushed
1" ginger root cut into small strips
extra pinch chilli powder (optional)
1 tbsp garam masala
chopped handful fresh coriander
0.75 cup frozen peas
1tbsp cumin seeds & 1 tbsp coriander seeds, dry roasted and lightly crushed
1 meduim eggs


How Do I Make Spicy Bake?

Here is how you make Spicy Bake:

Preheat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4. Put the bread in a bowl with 100ml of the milk and set aside to soak.2 Heat the oil in a pan and soften the onion. Stir in the curry powder over a low heat, then add the garlic, ginger and mince and stir until brown. 3 Mash the bread mixture and add to the meat with the peas, seeds, chopped tomatoes and coriander. Season, heat through and turn into three individual ovenproof dishes. Alternatively, you can bake one larger dish to share.Beat the eggs with the rest of milk, and season.
