1 can diced tomatoes (any variety)
3 cloves garlic
1 1/2 c. water
2 bay leaves
1/4 t. ground cumin
1 t. onion powder
1 can cannellini beans (or your favorite), drained
1 can red kidney beans (or your favorite), drained
1 T. fresh oregano, chopped (or dried equivalent)
1 t. fresh basil, chopped (or dried equivalent)
salt and pepper to taste


How Do I Make Bean and Kale Ragu?

Here is how you make Bean and Kale Ragu:

1. Heat olive oil in large skillet and add onions and kale; cook until onion is translucent (~5-7min)2. Reduce heat and stir in tomatoes, garlic, water, bay leaves, cumin and onion powder. Simmer until kale is soft (~60min)3. Stir in beans and continue simmering until beans are heated through (~10min)4. Add oregano, basil, salt and pepper5.
