1. Preheat the broiler2. Set a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the oiol, onion, and garlic. Saute, stirring occasionally, until the onion is limp, about 5 minutes. Add the chile and bell pepper; cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, stirring often.3. While the vegetables are cooking, combine the Cilantro Yogurt ingredients in a small bowl.4. Put the onion mixture in a large bowl. Add the black beans and mash with a fork or potato masher, leaving about one-fourth of the beans whole. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the cilantro, cumin, hot pepper sauce, sweet potato, and egg substitute. Form into 4 patties. Place bread crumbs on a plate. Lightly press patties one at a time into crumbs, coating both sides.5. Broil for 5 to 6 minutes, until browned and slightly crisp. Carefully turn and continue to broil for another 3 to 4 minutes.
