How Do I Make Jacki's Red Beans?

Here is how you make Jacki's Red Beans:

Rinse beans, place in large pot with 10 cups water. Bring to boil. Boil 5 minutes, reduce to low heat. In small skillet saute onions and Bragg sprinkle in Canola Oil until onion is soft. Cook bacon until crisp, drain oil from bacon. Add cooked onion and 3 halves of bacon to beans continue to cook covered until beans are soft.
