200 grms Beef ( I use rump ), cubed
One medium onion, chopped
2 cups mushrooms, Chopped
25 grms Bacon (no rind)
2 glasses Red Wine
2 Gloves garlic, crushed


How Do I Make Red Wine Beef?

Here is how you make Red Wine Beef:

Cube the beef into small cubes, cut the onion to your liking, cut the mushrooms to your liking, cut up bacon into small squares (making sure there is noe rind left on), crush or finely chop the garlic. Put all into caserole dish and mixed together, pour over the red wine and top up with water till the liquid is about a cm above the ingredients. Cook at 180C (350F) for about 1.5 - 2 hours or untill beef is tender. Serve over white rice or couscous.
