Makes 236 - 1 oz servings.Scald milk, stir in 4 tbs. sugar, salt and Crisco. Add 2 tbs sugar to warm water and sprinkle yeast over top and stir with a warm spoon . Proof about 10 mins. Add lukewarm milk mixture and half of flour. Beat until smooth. Turn onto floured surface and knead until smooth and feels just right. let rest about 10 minutes. grease bowl, place doug in bowl and grease top of dough. Cover, rise until doubled-about an hour. Punch down and let rest about 15 mins. Divide into 4 loaf pans. cover and let rise until doubled. After about 45 mins, turn oven on to 400 degrees to preheat. Let bread rise about 15 mins. more.
