What Are The Ingredients For No Knead Bread, my version Recipe?The ingredients for No Knead Bread, my version are: whole wheat flour, 5 oz or 1 cbread flour, 10 1/2 oz or 2 c 1/4 tsp active dry yeast 1 T salt 4 tsp wheat gluten 12 oz water How Do I Make No Knead Bread, my version?Here is how you make No Knead Bread, my version: Mix dry ingredients. Add water & stir to mix. Cover and leave in warm spot for about 16-18 hrs. (I mix this often at night for the next day's dinner.) About 2 hours before you plan on baking it, remove from bowl and lay dough on a little flour. Pat it out a bit and then fold over 4 ways (I use a bench scraper to do this.) Flip over and you should have a nice rounded dough. Place parchment paper in a clean bowl and toss a little cornmeal on top of the parchment paper. Gently lower the dough onto the cornmeal and cover again for another 90 minutes or so. Meantime preheat oven to 500 and place in it an oven safe dish with lid (I have an old Dansk one that's perfect) to preheat as well. After 90 minutes or so, carefully remove VERY hot dish from oven; remove lid and place dough in, lowering it by holding onto the parchment paper. With clean scissors cut an "X" in the center and throw some sesame seeds on top if you want. Quickly cover and return to oven. Bake covered for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 450 and remove lid for 15 more minutes or until an instant read thermometer reads 207. Remove from pot carefully and let cool slightly. Delicious warm.
