The ingredients for Braided Bread are:

1 cup warm milk
1 cup warm water
3 eggs
4 T. Canola oil
1 T. Yeast
1/2 cup sugar
6 -7 Cups flour
2 t. salt


How Do I Make Braided Bread?

Here is how you make Braided Bread:

Heat 1 cup milk and 1 cup water to 120 degrees. Add eggs and oil. Place in mixing bowl 3 cups flour, yeast, salt and sugar. Mix dry and wet ingredients until smooth. Continue adding flour until dough is elastic, and still a bit sticky. Let rise one hour. Divide into 12 even balls. Roll each into a long snake and then braid 3 for each loaf. Let rise 20 minutes and then place in 350 degree oven for about 25-30 minutes. or until golden brown. These loaves can be brushed with egg white and sesame seeds before baking or with butter when it is done.
