What Are The Ingredients For Fried Noodles w/Ham and Cabbage Recipe?The ingredients for Fried Noodles w/Ham and Cabbage are: 16 oz fine egg noodles (or Chinese egg noodles)1/2 to 3/4 head Chinese Cabbage (Napa Cabbge) 3/4 lb fully coked ham 9 green onions Ginger root 2 cups chicken broth 2 tbsp. soy sauce 10 tbsp. corn starch 6 tbsp. cooking oil How Do I Make Fried Noodles w/Ham and Cabbage?Here is how you make Fried Noodles w/Ham and Cabbage: Prepare noodles according to pkg. directions, rinse in cold water & set aside.Thinly slice Chinese Cabbage crosswise, set aside.Thinly slice ham into bite-sized strips, set aside. Bias-Slice onions into 1-inch lengths, set aside.Grate enough ginger root to make 4 tsps., set aside.In a bowl, combine chicken broth, soy sauce and corn starch, set aside. In a heavy 12-inch skillet (suitable for the oven), heat 2tbsp. of the oil over med. heat. Add the noodles and cook 4-5 minutes or 'til bottom of noodles is lightly browned. Remove noodles from pan by loosening and inverting onto a plate. Add 2 more tbsp. oil to skillet, slide noodles back into pan, browned side up. Cook for 4-5 more minutes or 'til bottom of noodles is lightly browned. Remove from heat and keep warm in a 350 degree oven. Preheat a wok, or a skillet over high heat. Add the remaining 2 tbsp cooking oil. Stir-fry the gingerroot in hot oil for about 30 seconds. Add green onions; stir-fry for 1 minute. Add ham and cabbage; stir-fry for 2 minutes. Stir chicken broth mixture; stir into wok or skillet. Cook and stir 'til thickened and bubbly. To serve place the noodles on a warm serving plater. Pour ham mixture over noodles.
