What Are The Ingredients For Cabbage lasagna Recipe?The ingredients for Cabbage lasagna are: 1 medium head of cabbage, green or red (I prefer red), halved and cored1lb Ground Turkey 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 cup minced red onion 1 large tomato, skin and seeds removed 2 tsp Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb Blend 1 8oz can Hunts no salt added tomato sauce 2 cups long grain white rice 1 1/4 cup Italian Cheese Blend 3 cups water How Do I Make Cabbage lasagna?Here is how you make Cabbage lasagna: Pre-heat oven to 350 degreesPeel apart cabbage leaves and place in a pot of boiling water. Boil until leaves are tender. While leaves are boiling. In a skillet brown ground turkey with onion and garlic. Drain and rinse ground turkey (rinsing helps remove more fats from the surface of the meat). Place back in the skillet. Add to meat/onion/garlic mixture: 1 can no salt added tomato sauce, Mrs. Dash garlic and herb, tomato and 1 cup water. Boil together until tomato and onion are softened. Add to skillet 2 cups water and 2 cups long grain instant rice (if you use reg. rice do not add 2 cups water to skillet, but pre-cook rice to done.). Cook until rice is tender.Drain the cabbage leaves, allow to cool until you can handle the leaves with your bare hands. Place a layer of leaves on the bottom of a 9x13 pan, add a layer of meat sauce, and a thin layer of cheese. Continue this pattern, ending with meat and cheese on top. Put in oven for about 10-15 minutes or until cheese is a bubbly golden brown.
