I use canola.Mix together onion, ground beef, ground turkey, wheat germ, tabasco sauce, 2 Tablespoons of the tomato soup, 1 Tablespoon of the lime juice, garlic and ginger. Make sure you mix the garlic and ginger in thouroughly or one person will get a bitter mouthful! Use more or less garlic/ginger to suit your taste. Quarter a large head of cabbage. With one of the quarters, chop it smaller (about 3 cups) and add to meat mixture.Scoop out 6, 1/2 cup or 4 ounce balls and place in pan, leaving a small gap between balls. Cut each of the remaining quarters into thirds, place around and between balls.Mix remaining tomato soup with 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice, and drizzle over meat and cabbage.Place in 350 degree oven for 1 hour, checking halfway to 'baste'.
