Only work until just mixed- over mixing will make the meat tough. Spread roughly .25 cup in a leaf of cabbage- tuck the ends then roll- makes about 21 or so rolls. Place potatos on bottom of large pot- place rolls over potatos- add additional salt, lemon juice and additional 8 cloved garlic- sliced in half- to enough water to just cover. ** if you want a tomato flavor add 1 -5oz can tomato paste to water before pouring over rolls if you like. Cover and cook over med high until boiling- then turn down and simmer just below boiling for 45 -55 minutes.
