1c Almond Milk
1 3/4c Chicken Broth
1c Onion
1.5c Baby Mushrooms (sliced)
1c Cheddar Reduced Fat Cheese (Sargento preferred)
1/4c Mozzarella Cheese Part Skim
3 tbsp flour
7oz pasta (any kind, I used spaghetti I had on hand)
2 cans Light Tuna
1/2c Panko Breadcrumbs
3 tbsp light butter
1 can low salt sweet peas




How Do I Make Lighter Tuna Casserole?

Here is how you make Lighter Tuna Casserole:

Preheat oven to 375. Boil pasta, drain, and set aside. While pasta is boiling, place butter in a skillet. Add onion and mushroom and sautee until soft. Place onions and mushrooms in a saucepan. Add chicken broth and milk, stirring flour in slowly at a boil. Add cheese and tuna. Let thicken. Add pasta to a large casserole dish. Add peas to saucepan and stir. Add sauce to casserole dish. Spread panko breadcrumbs on top of casserole.
