While you are steaming your broccoli, prepare your macaroni and cheese according to the boxed instructions. I boil my noodles exactly 7 minutes and they always come out great! While you are steaming and boiling, shred up your 8 slices of turkey or ham (if you want to add some meat to it) and set aside in a bowl. When your macaroni and cheese is prepared according to the box directions, add your broccoli (drain first if you boiled it!)Mix thoroughly. Add your meat. Mix thoroughly. ENJOY! This is great with a side salad and some fruit. It can also be used as a side dish in a smaller portion. You can get REALLY creative with this. Add bacon, add hot dogs copped up, add any meat really. You can also use peas instead of broccoli, or even carrots. We used all sorts of things to vamp up our mac and cheese and keep us from eating a whole box of JUST noodles and processed cheese.
