500g Chicken Breast, no skin, cut into 2in cubes
1 onion
1 Apple (not too sweet)
1 Vegetable Stock Cube
4tbsp Sour Cream
1Tbsp Flour (any kind)
50ml White Wine (optional)
1 tbsp Curry Powder (mild)
1 tbsp Sunflower Oil


How Do I Make Oma's Chicken Curry with Apple?

Here is how you make Oma's Chicken Curry with Apple:

Heat the onion in the sunflower oil in a casserole, until the onion is soft. Then add the chicken pieces and fry for a while until the chicken is white all over. Add 1 cup of water and the vegetable stock cube to the pot and turn down the heat and close the lid. Grate the apple and add to the chicken. Cook over a low heat for about 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through. Mix the flour in with the sour cream and take the pot off the heat. Then mix the sour cream mix in with the chicken. Bring back to the boil and then turn off the heat. Serve with plain basmati rice.Serving Size:?Makes 4 portions
