1 11-oz can mandarin oranges
2 tbsp firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp prepared mustard
3 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground cloves


How Do I Make Mandarin Chicken Breasts?

Here is how you make Mandarin Chicken Breasts:

Trim excess fat from chicken. Rinse chicken with cold water and pat dry. Coat a large skillet with cooking spray and add oil. Place skillet over medium-high heat until hot, and add chicken to skillet. Cook 2-3 minutes on each side or until lightly browned. Drain oranges, reserving juice. Set oranges aside. Combine juice and remaining ingredients; whisk well. Pour over chicken in skillet. Cover and simmer 30 minutes, turning occasionally. Add reserved oranges and simmer an additional 5 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter and pour sauce over chicken. This recipe goes very well with rice! It also nicely complements the sesame carrotsI have posted as well.
