1 Tbs lemon juice

1 large onion, chopped
1 cup veges, ( I used frozen ones)
1 Tbs brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup lite evaporated milk
10 sheets filo pastry
cooking spray

Cut the chicken into smallish pieces and place in a bowl with yogurt, spices, lemon juice, ginger and 1 Tbs tomato paste. Mix well and marinade for 20 minutes.In a frying pan, heat the oil and fry the onion and garlic until soft. Gradually add the marinated chicken to the pan, stirring frequently.When all the chicken and marinade are in the pan add the veges, remaining tomato paste and brown sugar, then gradually add the evaporated milk, stirring frequently. Try not to let the mixture boil as it will split.When the sause is thick and creamy and the chicken is cooked, remove from the heat and assemble the pies.Pre heat the oven to 200 degrees C. Lay out a sheet of filo, keeping the remaining sheets covered with a sheet of grease proof paper and a damp tea towel.Spray the sheet lightly with cooking spray. Fold the sheet in 1/2 length ways and spray again.Place 2 spoon fulls of the mixture at one end and roll over several times. Fold the edges down on both sides and continue to roll making a firm package.Place the prepared pies on a greased oven tray and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden and crispy.
