Add milk and heat, but do not boil! Once warm whisk in parm cheese. Add lemon, basil, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for a little bit. SLOWLY add corn starch slurry until just below desired thickness. It will thicken up a tad as it sits. This sauce is best if it sits for 15-20 mins first I think.In a separate pan heat chicken (I threw a few pieces of the skin into a non stick pan so I didn't need any additional oil), and then add cajun seasonings. Cook until browned, and then add to sauce. Make sure its well mixed and seasoned to your liking, and then add to pasta.
