Brown barley in fry pan for 3-5 minutes in 1 tbsp of olive oil. Cut chicken breast tenders into pieces. Place browned barley in crock pot. Next saute garlic, shallotts and chicken in 1 tbsp olive oil. Add this to the barley in the crock pot.Add 1 can cream of chicken with herb soup and water.Cook on low until barley is tender.
