Here is how you make Chicken Enchiladas Verde Casserole:

In a medium pot, add water and chicken. Place on high and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and let cook til chicken is cooked thoroughly. When finish, let cool on a plate.While chicken is cooking, put oil in a small pan on high til the oil begins to bubble. Then reduce heat to medium. Place tortillas in pan, one at a time, cooking lightly just to make the tortillas softer. Place tortillas on paper towels as they are done to soak up the access oil.In bowls, shred the cooled chicken into small pieces trying to keep the same amount of chicken in each bowl. In a 9 x 13 baking pan, coat the bottom with 3 tbsp. of green chili sauce. In a single layer, add 6 tortillas. Next, layer the tortillas with the chicken from one bowl. Follow the chicken with a layer of cheese, approx. 1/2 cup. Then do a layer of sauce, approx. 1/2 cup. Repeat these steps for a second layer.
