Potato, 8 medium,(2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) cut into 1/2" chunks
Bacon - 6 slices, cut into small pieces to use as bacon bit topping
Mild Cheddar Cheese shredded, 16 oz
Butter, unsalted, 3 tbsp
Sweet yellow onion, Diced (1 medium onion)
Balsamic Vinegar, 1 tbsp
Unbleached All-Purpose Flour, 0.25 cup approx
Garlic, 3 tsp
Salt/Pepper to taste

Here is how you make Chicken Bacon Potato and Cheese Cassarole:

1. Set oven to 400. Melt butter in microwave and put into a 13"X 9" pan, add potatoes, salt or pepper may be added here, mix well.2. Put pan into oven and set timer for 15 minutes. Every 15 minutes for 45 minutes, take out potatoes and stir, then put back in the oven.3. After first 15 minutes are up, put the bacon pieces into a large frying pan and cook on medium until crispy. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon, set aside.4. Add diced onions to the bacon grease. Cook until they run clear, about 2-3 minutes. Add the chicken and garlic to the pan and cook until chicken appears cooked through.5. Add the flour and stir until chicken is covered, then add the can of cream of chicken soup, buttermilk ranch dressing, and milk. Add more milk until thin enough to stir, but still thick. Add Balsamic Vinegar. Turn heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until potatoes have completed the 45 minute bake cycle.6. Once potatoes are done, add the chicken sauce mixture to the 13" X 9" dish, stir the chicken to coat. Layer with shredded cheddar cheese and then top with bacon bits. 7.
