1/4 cup Seasoned Flour
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken, cut into chunks
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. minced shallots
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 can reduced sodium Cream of Chicken soup
1 can chicken broth
1/2 cup white wine
6 oz. cream cheese
1 cup Orzo (measured dry), cooked according to package directions


How Do I Make Cream of Chicken w/Mushrooms and Orzo?

Here is how you make Cream of Chicken w/Mushrooms and Orzo:

Heat the olive oil. Put flour in large zip lock bag; add chicken chunks and shake to lightly dust pieces with flour (there will be about half the flour left over; discard). Brown the chicken lightly (does not need to be fully cooked); move to separate plate. Add butter, shallots, garlic and mushrooms. Saute over medium heat for 5-6 minutes to allow mushrooms to brown slightly. Add soup, broth, wine and return chicken to pan. Cover pan and simmer for 15-20 minutes to fully cook chicken. Add cream cheese and mix well to fully incorporate. Simmer for additional 5 minutes to melt the cream cheese.
