Layer in a large (6qt) crock pot, half the chicken, half the mushroom slices, and half the green onions. Repeat layers. Measure out the wine into a small glass bowl (or use a 2 cup graduated glass measuring cup) add cider mix and whisk. Pour this mixture over the layers already in the crock pot. Add about a quarter of a cup of water to the bowl or measuring cup to rinse out the last bits of cider mix, and pour into crock pot.
