1 tsp ground coriander;

1/2 tsp chilli powder;

1 tsp freshly grated ginger;

1 birdseye chilli, finely chopped;
1 tsp garam masala;
2 cardamon pods;

5 black peppercorns;

Here is how you make Desi Chicken Curry:

Fry onion paste in oil and butter until light brown. Add the ginger, garlic, yoghurt, ground coriander, chilli powder, tumeric, tomato and salt.Mix and fry briefly and then add the chicken and remaining spices. Mix it and let it cook for 10-15 minutes till the chicken becomes tender and the desired consistency of curry is achieved (you may need to add water).
