Here is how you make Chicken and Dumplings (6 oz serving):

Rinse whole chicken and place in 3 qt. pot half full of water (with chicken in pot). Add salt, pepper and poultry seasoning to taste. Lightly boil for 1hr 30 min. Drain chicken, reserving stock for use. After chicken cools, remove skin and pull chicken from bones. Replace stock in pot and add 2 cups whole milk. Return to boil. Using the 1/2 cup sifted flour, lightly flour wax paper and line 20 biscuits up in two rows. Lightly flour top of biscuits and roll out with rolling pin until twice the size they came out of the can. Cut the biscuits in quarters. Save the remaining flour. Add half the dumplings to boiling milk and stock and cook until they begin to become firm. Add remaining biscuits and cook until they begin to become firm. Add 1 lb of pulled chicken. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix remaining flour with salt and pepper. Add enough milk or water to make thick mix. Add mix a little at a time to chicken and dumplings to thicken to desired consistency. Let cook 3 to 5 minutes between each add of mix to guage consistency. Remaining chicken can be used for chicken salad or barbeque pulled chicken.
