Boil whole chicken. Reserve broth from cooking.Debone and shred chicken - set aside.Add milk and cream of chicken soup to the reserved broth heat to boiling.Combine egg and milk. Add flour until dough rolling consistency. Roll or pat out dough. Use a pizza cutter to quickly cut dough into small rectangles. Drop dumplings into boiling mixture a few at a time stirring between additions. Once all dumplings are in let them boil for about 10 minutes stirring occasionally.Add chicken back into the mix. Keep at a boil for a couple of minutes while stirring, while the chicken reheats. Turn down the heat to a simmer and let simmer 30 minutes to an hour. Stir ocassionally.Dumplings are better the second day. So make the recipe early and reheat.
