The ingredients for Easy Shredded Chicken are:

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
3-4 tblsp soft margarine or spread
2-4 tblsp flour
2 cubes chicken boullion
1/8 - 1/4 cup 2% milk (1% or skim will work too)
1/8 cup raw onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste


How Do I Make Easy Shredded Chicken?

Here is how you make Easy Shredded Chicken:

Preheat oven to 350F.Boil chicken breasts on stove top till cooked through.Using forks, shred the cooked chicken, and set aside.In a skillet, make a roux using the margarine and flour (add a little flour at a time, stirring in, to avoid clumping). Add the boullion cubes to the skillet, and the milk, dissolving the boullion. Bring just to a boil and reduce heat. Add the onion, and stir in. Season with salt and pepper to taste.Place the shredded chicken in a baking dish, and stir in the sauce mixture from the skillet.
