1# bag of baby carrots, cut in half
1 can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup with Roasted Garlic5
1.5 cups instant brown rice, uncooked
1 Tsp. ground thyme
1 TB garlic powder
2 pkgs. (8 oz. each) sliced mushrooms
8 oz. white wine
1 TB Olive Oil
salt and pepper to taste


How Do I Make Country French Chicken?

Here is how you make Country French Chicken:

Brown the chicken in olive oil in a large skillet, seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic. Remove and set aside.In the same pan, saute the carrots until tender crisp. You may need to add a little salt to the carrots.Spray Casserole with cooking spray. Put the rice in the bottom of the sprayed casserole. Sprinkle with 1 tsp. thyme. Put the chicken on top. Then add the carrots. You can also sweat the mushrooms if desired, or put in raw on top of the carrots. Stir the soup, 1 tsp. thyme, and wine in the same pan and stir to blend thoroughly and loosen any drippings from the pan. Bring just to a boil and then pour over the casserole.
