1 red pepper, cut into strips
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
2 tsp canola oil, divided
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp cooking sherry
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
5-6 green onions, chopped

Here is how you make Glazed Chicken with Cashews:

Heat wok or large frypan. Add 1 tsp of the canola oil. Add garlic and let it sizzle for a few seconds. Add the chicken and stir-fry until no longer pink. Remove chicken and set aside.Add the remaining 1 tsp oil and stir-fry the pepper for about 2 minutes. Add chicken back to pan along with sherry and hoisin sauce. Continue to stir-fry until all ingredients are evenly glazed.Stir in the sesame oil, toasted cashews and green onions.
