1/3 cup minced basil leaves, packed
3 cloves garlic, minced

Here is how you make Grilled Balsamic Basil Chicken:

First, make the balsamic basil vinaigrette. Whisk allthe ingredients together until well combined. Reserve1/3 cup for serving alongside the cooked chicken.Place the chicken in a gallon-sized zip-top bag, andpound the breast with a meat mallet or rollingpin until it is of even thickness throughout the wholeportion. Season with salt and pepper onboth sides.Add balsamic basil vinaigrette to the bag. Zip the bag, getting as much of the airout as possible, and rub the bag all over to distributethe vinaigrette evenly. Refrigerate for up to 24 hours.Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and let it sitat room temperature while you preheat your grill tomedium-high heat.Wipe any excess herbs from the breasts before grilling.Grill, turning once, until cooked through and juices run clear.Allow it to rest on a platter, loosely tented withfoil, for a few minutes.
