2 C water
1 C mixed vegetables
1 Pillsbury Just Unroll Pie Crust


How Do I Make Misha's Mom's Homemade Chicken Pot Pies?

Here is how you make Misha's Mom's Homemade Chicken Pot Pies:

Poach the chicken in a pan with water. Or you could just boil it. Pull the pie crust and let thaw slowly on the counter.While the chicken is simmering, dice the potatoes and parboil them in water in the microwave for about 8 minutes or until they are a little soft. Make the chicken bouillon.Make the sauce by melting butter. Add the bouillon and the flour. Boil for 2 minutes. Break up the chicken into small bite-size pieces. Add the vegetables, potatoes and the chicken.Unroll the pie crust. Separate the the filling into 4 oven-safe bowls. I use Pyrex glass containers. Bowls with straight sides work best. Cut four disks out of the dough that are slithly larger than the diameter of the bowl. Lay on top of the bowls and crimp to the edges of the bowls. Can brush the crust on top with melted butter.Place on cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes at 450 degrees. Allow to cool 5-10 minutes.
