Saute onion & garlic in oil for about 5 minutes in a large skillet. Remove & set aside.Add chicken to skillet, cook until browned on both sides. Put garlic & onions back in pan with chicken. Add tomatoes. Sprinkle with basil, salt & vinegar. Pour balsamic vinegar over all.Cover and cook for about 30 minutes or till chicken is tender. Place chicken on plates and top with the tomato/onion mixture.
