1/2 head Chinese cabbage
2 pkgs kinoko mushroom (or other mushroom)
50 g harusame noodles
1 tbsp chicken stock
a dash of Olive oil & also Sesame oil
a dash of sake/soy sauce/salt/pepper for more taste if desired

Here is how you make Japanese Chicken Dumpling Nabe:

1. Stick the Harume noodles in luke warm water and take your kitchen scissors and cut the noodles into small pieces - good enough size to eat.2. (to make chicken dumplings) Put ground meat, green onion, egg, sake, soy sauce, grated ginger and starch in a medium size bowl. Mix all together.3. In a saucepan put 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp sesame oil, and bite sized pieces of cabbage. Stir-fry on high heat.4. Add 5 cups of water to step #3, once it is boiling put in 1 tbsp of chicken stock and 3 tbsp of each sake and soy sauce. (add only last two if desired for more taste)5. Similar to making meatballs, take two spoons to make small ping-pong sized balls out of the chicken dumpling mixture. Place the meatballs in the soup along with the mushrooms, pepper, salt to taste.
