The ingredients for Tanya's Kung Pao Chicken are:

1 can water chestnuts (drained)
42 g cashews (chopped)
680g chicken breast (no skin) (chopped small)
5 stalks of celery (cubed)
10 oz shredded carrots
170g broccoli slaw
3 cups napa cabbage (chopped, keep stem and leaf parts seperate)
15 tbsp Panda Express brand Kung Pao sauce
2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
3 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
McCormick Chinese five spice powder (to taste)


How Do I Make Tanya's Kung Pao Chicken?

Here is how you make Tanya's Kung Pao Chicken:

Makes five 320g (apx) servings.Spray wok or large frying pan with canola oil spray. Place chicken (chopped into small pieces) into pan and heat until cooked throughout. Set aside. In same pan, add in 1 tbsp sesame oil, with onions, cabbage stems, and carrots. Cook until veggies are almost soft. Add in broccoli slaw, cabbage leaves and celery. Cook until reduced (when all ingredients are added you pan will be very full. It will reduce down very quickly). Stir in cooked chicken, remaining 1 tbsp sesame oil, Kung Pao sauce, Chinese five spice powder (to taste) and water chestnuts. Cook until heated throughout.
