1 large celery stick - thinly sliced
4 rashers lean bacon - trimmed of fat & chopped
1 can chopped tomatoes
A large wine glass of white wine.


How Do I Make Chicken and Leek Thing?

Here is how you make Chicken and Leek Thing:

Makes 6 servings.Mix all ingredients in a large casserole dish using the wine to rinse out the tomato can. Cover with a lid or a sheet of foil & place in an oven pre-heated to 180 deg. C/350 deg. F.(The gravy on this is a bit thin. If you prefer a slightly thickened sauce, you could use a slotted spoon to remove the meat & vegetables, then use a teaspoon of cornflour slaked in a little cold water added to the sauce, brought to the boil & simmered for a minute.)I haven't tried it but I reckon this would be successful made in a slowcooker as well.Number of Servings: 6Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user NELLGWYN.
