- 2 skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp light olive oil
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chilli powder


How Do I Make Lemon and Chilli Chicken?

Here is how you make Lemon and Chilli Chicken:

Clean the chicken breasts and make a couple of scores along them cutting about half way into the chicken, no more. Heat the butter and oil in the pan. Add half the chilli powder to the chicken rubbing it in. Once the butter has melted add the chicken to the pan. Pour the lemon juice over the chicken. Cover with a pot lid to trap the steam, and allow to simmer for a few minutes. Using a spoon collect the liquid from the base of the pan and cover chicken, do this every few minutes covering inbetween. Half way through add the remaining chilli powder to the chicken.
