Here is how you make Braised Lemon and Mushroom Chicken:

1. Preheat oven to 3502. Dust chicken with pan searing flour3. Heat oil in large braising pan on medium. Add chicken. Brown lightly on all sides, 8-10 minutes total. Transfer to clean platter, set aside. Discard all but 1tbsp oil.4. Add shallots, cook. Stir 1-2 minutes. Add mushrooms, cook stirring 3-4 minutes.5. Add wine, cook, stirring to loosen browned bits on bottom of pan. Simmer 3-5 minutes, to reduce liquids by 2/3. Stir in remaining 3tbsp flour. Add chicken stock. Return chicken to pan, add potatoes. Bring to simmer.6. Cover, place on center rack of oven and braise for 1 hr.7. Remove pan from oven. Remove chicken from sauce, set aside. Add escarole to pan; simmer 5 minutes on medium on stove top. Stir in tarragon, peppers, and capers. Return chicken to pan. Add lemon juice.
