3 tbsp butter
1 small onion, chopped
8oz sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup sherry
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper


How Do I Make Braised Chicken and Mushrooms?

Here is how you make Braised Chicken and Mushrooms:

Season chicken generously with salt and pepper. In large skillet, heat 2 tbsp butter over medium high heat. Brown chicken on both sides, about 8 minutes total. Remove chicken to plate. Add remaining butter to pan. Saute onions until barely softened, about 3 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook until they release liquid, about 5 minutes. Add sherry and worcestershire sauce. Place chicken back in pan and spoon mushrooms over the top.
