Brown chicken in olive oil; remove chicken from pan and add carrot, celery, sliced onion and saute' until tender; add 1 can of tomatoes (do not drain); 1 tbsp basil, t tbsp oregano, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 4 whole cloves, 1/4 cup dry white wine and browned chicken.
