Add onions and cook over medium heat until onions are soft and just begin to brown, about 8 minutes. add garlic and cook an additional 1 minute. remove onions and garlic from pan, set aside.3. add chicken to skillet, skin side down. cook about 4 minutes, or until it browns. turn chicken, cook another 4-5 minutes until chicken browns on this side. 4. return onions and garlic to pan with chicken, reduce heat to low. mix chicken broth, tomato paste, and paprika in a small bowl, add to chicken. cover and cook over low heat until potatoes are done.5. add potatoes into chicken, fold in to avoid breaking potatoes up too much, and simmer, covered, over low heat for 15 minutes.remove pan from heat and fold in sour cream.
