Farfalle Multigrain pasta (bow-ties)
2 chicken breasts, cut into 1" pieces
1 T olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic
1 lb. asparagus, cut in half
1 red bell pepper, cut into bite sized pieces
Basil, few dashes
Oregano, few dashes

Sauce-
4 T butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 T flour
1 1/2 C chicken broth
1 1/2 C milk
2/3 C shredded parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste


How Do I Make Chicken and Asparagus Alfredo Pasta?

Here is how you make Chicken and Asparagus Alfredo Pasta:

Cook pasta as directed on package.Heat olive oil in pan. When hot, add chicken. When just about cooked through, add onion and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add 2 cloves minced garlic and cook 2 more minutes. Add asparagus and cover for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Finally add in the red pepper and cook an additional 5 minutes. Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan prepare the sauce. Melt butter. Add garlic and cook over medium heat for 1 minute. Add flour and cook 1 minute stirring constantly. (This shoud make a roux). Stir in broth and milk. Cook until it boils and thickens. Stir in salt, pepper and cheese. Combine pasta, veggies/chicken, and sauce.
