How Do I Make Chicken and Pasta Romana?Here is how you make Chicken and Pasta Romana: Melt butter in sauce pan. When foaming, add 2 Tbs flour, and spices stirring to cook for 1-2 minutes. Add the milk and bring to a simmer. In another pan, bring the water for the pasts to a boil, cook as directed less 3 minutes, drain and set aside. Once the milk/roux mixture is simmering, slowly stir in the cheese reserving 2 TBS. Stir until the cheese is disolved. Spray a 9 x 13 casserol with cooking spray, add the pasta and cooked chicken, then the sauce stirring to coat evenly. Top with the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Serve with a salad. To save more calories and fat, you can use skim milk and thicken with cornstarch if needed, and fat free parmesan cheese (though it comes a little grainy) and not sacrifice taste.
