4 Tbs. soy sauce
1 med. onion, cut into long slices
2 Tbs. cornstarch
1 c. water
1 large green bell pepper, sliced
4 Roma (plum) tomatoes, seeded and chopped (optional)



How Do I Make Chicken Pepper Steak?

Here is how you make Chicken Pepper Steak:

Heat oil and soy sauce in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with onion salt and place in skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, then add garlic and half of the sliced onion. Cook until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear. Dissolve cornstarch in water in a small bowl, and blend into the chicken mixture. Stir in pepper, tomatoes and remaining onion. Simmer until gravy has reached desired consistency. Serve with brown, long grain or wild rice. (Calculate nutrition information for rice separately.)
