I poached my chicken in water and set the water aside and used some of that broth (plus boxed chicken broth) in the recipe. Also cook a potato (microwave for 6 mins) ahead of time and let cool. Dice all veggies to the size you like and saute till soft using pam and a little water. Remove from pan and set veggies aside, add the butter to the pan and saute the onion and garlic till soft. Add the flour and stir well till blended, then add 3/4 c lowfat milk and continue to stir till very thick. Add in the chopped chicken and precooked veggies, along with the potato and coat with the thick sauce. Add salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and poultry seasoning as you like. It will be very thick, so add chicken broth till it reaches a creamy/soup consistency that you like. If you need more than the 1.5 c of broth, you can just add some of the reserved water from your poached chicken. Consistency is personal preference here. Put into individual bowls and top each with a wedge of crescent roll (I reshaped it to circle-ish). Bake bowls for 10-13 mins at 350 till top is brown. This recipe makes 4 very generous servings.
