What Are The Ingredients For Chicken Pot Pie @ Home Recipe?The ingredients for Chicken Pot Pie @ Home are: 1T - Salted sweet cream butter3 - Small red potatoe, petite diced .5C - Chopped Onions, diced 1 - 16oz bag Mixed Vegetables, Frozen 2 oz- Velveeta Light (made with2% milk) petite diced 1ea- Campbell?s Cream of Chicken Soup (98% fat free) 10oz can 6 oz- Chicken Breast, roasted or grilled and diced 2 ea- Pillsbury 9" Refrigerated Pie Crust 1C - 99% fat free chicken stock Salt & pepper to taste How Do I Make Chicken Pot Pie @ Home?Here is how you make Chicken Pot Pie @ Home: Preheat oven to 400? FHeat a non-stick skillet and melt the butter until just turning brown. (Brown butter adds a nice layer of flavor to the veggies) As butter just starts turning brown add the potatoes and onions and cook for about 4 min or until the potatoes are just starting to soften. Then add the mixed vegetables and combine until just thawed and season with salt & pepper to taste.Pour mixture into a large bowlAdd diced chicken, Velveeta, soup and chicken stock and combine. (At this point I judge the amount of chicken stock that I add to get the mixture to the consitancy that I like. So plus or minus the 1C stock for what you like. There are only 20 calaries to a cup of stock.)Line the bottom of your cassarole dish with one 9" pie crust (it may not "completely" cover, but should be pretty close.)Pour mixture into cassarole dish and cover with the remaining 9" pie crust.Bake approx. 30-45 mins or until crust is brown and bubbly. Let cool at least 10 mins and ENJOY!!Serving Size:?Makes 8 serving of appox. 1-1.5 cups each.
