makes 1 large pie. pre heat oven to 200cheat 2 tbsp butter in saucepan, add 2 tbsp of plain flour and stir in, heat on low for 2 mins stiring. take off heat, add 8 fl oz of warm chicken stock stiring continuously. heat on low for 1 min whilst stiring, when thick turn off heat and add milk, mix and put to one side.for pastry put 4 tbsp flour in a bowl, add remaining butter and margarine and rub till resembles breadcrumbs. add 6 tbsp of cold water and mix till forms ball, wrap in grease proof paper and refridgerate.heat olive oil in pan, add onions, dice chicken and add to pan, fry till cooked and add sliced carrots and mushrooms, fry for 4 mins on medium, add previously prepared sauce and mix in, take off heat. place mixture in a large pie dish.
