1/2 cup frozen green beans
2 prepared pie crusts
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup chicken stock (you will make this using the recipe)


How Do I Make Easy Peasy Chicken Pot Pie?

Here is how you make Easy Peasy Chicken Pot Pie:

Place bone-in chicken thighs (or legs) in a pot of water and cover in water. You can throw in some chopped celery & carrots, minced garlic and onion, salt and pepper to make your chicken stock more savory. Boil for 45 minutes or so if frozen meat or 25-30 minutes if it's not.Preheat oven to 375 degrees. While chicken is boiling, you can go ahead and measure out your vegetables and place it in one of your pie crusts.Once chicken is cooked thoroughly, move the pot somewhere so it can cool, remove the chicken, flake off the meat with a fork and place it on top of your vegetables in the pie crust.Take 1 cup of your chicken stock and place it in a bowl or cup and combine it with the 1/4 cup of whole wheat flour. Whip it until there are no chunks and pour over the vegetables and meat in your pie crust.Cover it all with your second pie crust and poke several holes in the crust.Bake 20-25 minutes (or longer if you need to), until the center is cooked to a golden brown and contents are thoroughly heated.Enjoy!
