Bag of frozen mixed vegetables, thawed 2 10oz cans of cream of chicken soup, condensed 1 soup can of water salt and pepper to taste 3 medium potatoes, cubed 1/4 cup milk 2 tbsp butter salt to taste 2 pie crusts, thawed 1 egg, beaten How Do I Make Rustic Chicken Pot Pie?Here is how you make Rustic Chicken Pot Pie: In a large nonstick skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat. Add the chicken, salt and pepper, and cook until no longer pink. Add the mixed vegetables, soup, and water. Cook until thickened.Meanwhile in a large saucepan, add potatoes and cover with water. Cook until fork tender. Drain and mash. Add butter, milk, and salt and mash until smooth.Heat oven to 450 degrees. On a large cookie sheet lay out the pie crust. Spread 1/2 cup of potatoes on the crust to within an inch of the sides. Top with 1/2 the chicken mixture. Fold up the sides, crimping where needed. Repeat with the other crust. Brush each crust with the egg.
