What Are The Ingredients For chicken and brown rice goop Recipe? The ingredients for chicken and brown rice goop are: 2 1/2 lbs chicken32 oz chicken broth 1 tsp kosher salt 1 tbsp black pepper 1 tbsp rosemary 1 tbsp thyme 1 tbsp parsley 4 cups of water 1 cup of diced carrots 1 cup of diced celery 1 cup of diced onions 3 cups of brown rice (uncooked) How Do I Make chicken and brown rice goop? Here is how you make chicken and brown rice goop: Put chicken in slow cooker, add seasonings, add raw vegetables, pour broth in. I put the slow cooker on high because I wasn't really sure what I was doing. I let it stay like that until the chicken was cooked and the vegetables were getting tender, maybe an hour. Then I added the water and put the slow cooker on low. Once everything was very tender I stirred and tore the chicken (with the spoon). Then I added in the rice. I think 3 cups was too much because it turned out to be like a rice mixture rather than a soup. Next time I'd increase the water/broth and/or decrease the rice. It was really tasty though and didn't taste like it had much salt. Alterations could be made to lower the fat and sodium content.
